Mohave County Superior Court Offices

The Kingman office is at 415 E. Spring Street, Kingman, AZ 86401. Mail goes to P.O. Box 7000, Kingman, AZ 86402. Call (928) 753-0713. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This is the main office with the longest hours.

Lake Havasu City office is at 2001 College Drive, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86404. Phone is (928) 453-0701. Bullhead City office is at 2225 Trane Road, Bullhead City, AZ 86442. Phone is (928) 758-0730. Both branch offices have reduced hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to noon and 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Mohave County Probate Filing Fees

Mohave County has some of the higher filing fees in Arizona. Check the official fee schedule for current costs. Fees apply at all three office locations.

Mohave County Superior Court filing fee schedule

An application for informal probate costs $371. Formal appointment petitions and guardianship or conservatorship petitions also cost $371. If you oppose a contested petition, the fee is $282. Post-judgment activities in probate cases cost $282. Proof of authority filings and real property transfer affidavits under A.R.S. 14-3971E cost $406.

Other fees include $35 for claims against an estate, $35 for demands for notice, $35 for certification, $0.50 per page for copies, and $35 for research to locate documents.

Fiduciary Training in Mohave County

Arizona law requires training for anyone serving as a guardian, conservator, or personal representative who is not a licensed fiduciary. You must complete approved training before the court will issue permanent letters of appointment. Mohave County follows statewide requirements under the Arizona Rules of Probate Procedure.
