Yavapai County Probate E-Filing
Yavapai County offers electronic filing for probate matters through the eFileAZ system. Visit the e-filing information page for details on what documents you can submit online.
Case-initiating documents and original wills cannot be e-filed under Arizona law. You must file these on paper at the clerk's office. After your case is open, subsequent filings may be submitted through eFileAZ. Attorneys are required to use e-filing for most documents.

Filing Probate in Yavapai County
To start a probate case in Yavapai County, bring your completed forms, the original will if one exists, the filing fee, and copies for yourself. Staff will review your filing for completeness. They cannot give legal advice but can tell you if something is missing.
Arizona has a two-year time limit for probate filings. You must start the case within two years of the death. Small estates under $200,000 in personal property or $300,000 in real property may qualify for simplified procedures using an affidavit instead of full probate.
